Peer Review Process

To begin, submitted manuscripts are evaluated for uniqueness, compliance with author instructions, and language. Manuscripts that are deemed insufficient or do not follow the author's guidelines may be rejected without peer review.

Scientific articles submitted to the Educational Evaluation and Learning Management journal are evaluated by editors and referees who are experts in respective disciplines. The evaluation procedure employs a blind peer review strategy. If the chief editor deems it necessary, he or she may appoint a Subject Editor for the article or execute the scientific assessment. Editors may also appoint referees to analyses the article scientifically and base their judgments on the referees' reports. The final decision on whether or not to publish an article is made by the Editor-in-Chief. The instructions for submission and the methods for reviewing can be found on the journal's website.

The editor's role

The chief editor is in charge of overseeing the entire review process, which must be fair, exact, and timely. The editor's main responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Choosing manuscripts that are only suitable for publication.
  2. Identifying significant "hot themes" to ensure a steady flow of high-quality articles for the publication.
  3. Increasing the journal's impact factor while keeping the publication schedule on track
  4. Providing strategic advice on the development of the journal
  5. Communicating with authors, referees, and publishers to organize the flow of manuscripts.
  6. Maintaining the privacy of each author's work.
  7. Defining, implementing, and reviewing policies on a regular basis
  8. Fairness, civility, honesty, and transparency in dealing with all authors.
  9. Creating a trustworthy group of professional reviewers.
  10. When necessary, providing input to reviewers and ensuring that any feedback to authors is constructive.

Submissions’ cancellation

Papers may be returned to authors to avoid double publication and ethical violations, and even articles that have been accepted or published may be withdrawn from publication if necessary. In the following circumstances, the Editors-in-Chief have the authority to return or withdraw articles:

  1. The essay falls outside of the journal's scope.
  2. The manuscript has been accepted for publication in another journal or is being considered for publication in another journal.
  3. The article's scientific quality and content do not fulfil the journal's criteria.
  4. The article was not written in accordance with scientific publishing standards.
  5. Plagiarism detection software detects a high degree of similarity to another work.
  6. The writers do not complete the desired adjustments in the time frame specified.
  7. Without the Editor-in-permission, Chief's an author is added or removed, the order of the authors is changed, the corresponding author is changed, or the authors' addresses are changed.
  8. The ethics committee's approval is not indicated by submitting a statement.
  9. Human or animal rights are being infringed.
  10. The data utilized in the study is not available upon request.
